Florence

Our favorite city in Italy, Florence is one of the most beautiful places in Italy and definitely worth a visit!

We recommend stopping to see the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore (the Duomo) and climbing the bell tower for an amazing view of the city and surrounding hills.

Visit the Ponte Vecchio, a gorgeous medieval bridge on the Arno River, for live music from local musicians, jewelry shops and the most gorgeous sunset photos before grabbing dinner at one of the hundreds of amazing restaurants in the area.

The Galleria dell’Accademia is the home of Michelangelos famous work of art, the Statue of David. Even if youre not the artsiest person, the 500 year-old statue is well worth a visit.

There is also a replica of the statue in the beautiful Piazza della Signoria, where youll also find the Palazzo Vecchio surrounded by statues and fountains.

Just outside the city, Piazzale Michelangelo is a must if youre looking for the best view of Florence and Tuscany beyond!
