'Twas but an average Tuesday afternoon amidst a warm May day. I had just completed a full day's work at the horse farm when I made way towards the local feed store to restock on grain for my personal beasts. It was a habit of mine to trek to the feed store every Tuesday upon the completion of my paying duties, so I had grown quite familiar with the small family business and their hired help. This day; however, a new face greeted me as I pulled in the bay to place my usual order. Our eyes met frequently as he stacked bags in the back of my automobile while I entered the air conditioned building to pay for my goods. This routine continued for 5 months. Though we never spoke words beyond me placing an order and him acknowledging my request, I one day received a Facebook friend request from someone who looked oddly similar to this mysterious man from the feed store. Perhaps it's because it was him. He found me *dun dun dun*. I excitedly accepted the request though, unfortunately, never received a message from him as I had hoped I would. Regardless, I still grew excited to lay my eyes upon him every Tuesday afternoon. But then, only a month later, this man whom I had grown quite fond of seeing had disappeared. Three weeks passed without his presence until the day came that my seventeen year old being took it upon myself to make the first move, via Facebook Messenger.

"Hey I know this is random haha but do you still work at Pilgrims?". I shakily hit send. And as quickly as I did, the typing bubbles of his response appeared. "You're good. Not anymore. Why do you ask?"
Thus, a legitimate love interest was born.

Our first date. Chandler organized a picnic by the lake followed by hours of strolling through our little town. We made it official before the day ended.

I was gifted a promise ring on the anniversary of us dating. We knew we were to marry, but I was only a senior in high school and nowhere near prepared to enter a marriage. A promise would suffice.

Chandler and I spent a week with the mountains of northern Wyoming and southeast Idaho. Due to the this being my favorite place, he decided this would be the perfect opportunity to drop to one knee. He was right. We rode snow mobiles up the mountains of Idaho until intentionally stumbling upon grand waterfall. With the snow sparkling against the rays of sunlight and the treacherous water rushing beneath us, he asked for my hand in marriage. It was impossible for me to deny his question as he was presenting a ring of diamonds in front of my eyes. Who in their right mind could say no to diamonds?

I am typing this story out. No further detail will be included as I do not enjoy typing. I much prefer talking. God gifted us cell phones and Facebook Messenger (as previously mentioned) so you will simply have to call me if you desire any further detail of our love story.
To be continued.
