This beautiful lady is the brides best friend and sister. She has been with me through thick and thin. Always being there as my support and cheering me on at every turn. To say I look up to her is an understatement. Although she was the reason for a few of my bumps and bruises growing up...the reason I fell off our four wheeler when we were younger *cough cough* she has helped me heal from the many bumps and bruises life has given me over the years. Now she is all grown up, married to a very special man, a wonderful mom to one hell of a cute kid, Miles, with a baby girl on the way. She is a supportive and loving partner and an amazing mom. All things I hope to learn from as I become a partner and hopefully a mom someday. Needless to say, she is the person I want next to me as I take this next step in life. Not only because she is my sister but she is everything else you could ask for in a best friend.

Everett and I are first cousins and were born just 2 months and 3 days apart. We grew up together, always creating a game out of our surroundings. Whether it was at the lake, the park, the backyard, or the bucket seats in the van, we were going to create a game. Cup holders make great basketball hoops on I-70. Uncle John took us to many Broncos games, a staple of our youth. We learned to get loud on defense, and that high fiving the stranger next to you was encouraged. We learned how to snowboard together, and that there’s no better spot to take a leak than on the side of a mountain. We learned that driving to each others’ houses with our permit took 45 minutes and driving with our license took 26 minutes. We learned that sometimes life is hard, but that we would always be there to pick the other one up. As I look forward to taking the next step with the woman that I love, I can’t think of anyone better suited to stand next to me on that day.
