Chandler and Billy first met in college at Kansas State University in 2014. Chandler first caught Billy's eye when she walked past his dorm room on the way to the dining hall. He later found out that they lived on the same floor. They eventually met through the friends they made on the dorm floor, Goodnow 2. Where it all began.

They were friends for 2 years before they started hanging out more when they both stayed in Manhattan, KS over the summer before their junior year. They would both find reasons to make plans since most of their friends were home for the summer. Chandler eventually worked up the courage to send Billy an I like you snapchat and the rest is history!

Billy proposed to Chandler May 13th, 2023. The couple had a planned trip to Chicago 2 weeks later, when Chandler thought the proposal was sure to happen. He knew this would throw her off the scent, so he proposed in the privacy of their home together. He made sure to have their cat, Oliver involved! Afterwards, they went to a fancy dinner to celebrate. So they got to send their time in Chicago as a newly engaged couple!
