Our Wedding

We met at Dirty Little Roddy’s in downtown Boise at the end of June 2023. Keith was out with friends—all in Hawaiian shirts—celebrating his younger brother Cameron’s 21st birthday. While waiting in line, his friends started chatting with my friend Lydia, and soon after Keith and I were introduced inside the bar. We talked about everything and at one point Keith asked me to swing dance. We swapped numbers and discovered we were both from Oregon. Later we took turns on the mechanical bull—I fell off first and Keith had to duck and roll to avoid elbowing me—then the night rolled on from bar to bar. At Karma I beat Keith at skee‑ball, which I still tease him about. I drove Keith and his friends home that night, and after texting all day the next day we were back out in Downtown Boise enjoying the evening. From there, Keith and I never stopped hanging out.

The hotel is located off Interstate 5, close enough to be easily accessible, yet away from the congestion and noise, located steps away from the Linn County Fair and Expo Center.
