If you know Chandler & Lauryn this story will seem completely hilarious to you because most of it will seem out of character...that because it was! How we met and started dating is a series of events the two of us would've never guessed but thank God they did!

In January of 2021 there's screenshot of Lauryns' latest Instagram post at the time in my camera roll (creepy I know) but it needed to be done! I had come across the most gorgeous woman I had ever seen so the screenshot seemed necessary. Even better was that she somehow already followed me, and liked all of my pictures lol. What's funny is that after that I sat and did nothing but view her page from the shadows for nearly 3 months. I waited until the oppurtunity presented itself and surely enough on April 27th it did. Lauryn posted a worship song on her Instagram story which I saw as confirmation she was the one and the perfect chance to DM her. The only problem was I had never heard the song before so I made sure to play at least 30 seconds of it in my car before replying to her post with "WOW This one is such classic" which was met with Lauryns response "I know right!" She should've known better because after that it was over for her! If she'd allow I could even show some slightly embarrassing flirty text from Lauryn because I think she may of had a crush on me, don't worry I did too.

This online flirting continued over Instagram, texting, and FaceTime for month until my next trip to Oklahoma to see family. We planned to meet up in Dallas on November 2nd to finally see each other face to face. Even crazier is that we both had the same idea of bringing our best friend with us as a backup plan in case things went south haha. Little did we know that those friends would end up dating and getting married 2 week before us! Crazy story but go to their wedding site to read that one.

In all seriousness Me & Lauryn are completely blown away by God's grace throughout our relationship. The past 3 years have been filled with some of the sweetest memories from virtual movie nights and trip to our favorite cities around the US to what seems like endless trips to the San Francisco airport and back.
