Are children allowed at the wedding ceremony?
We encourage children under the age of 4 to join our church childcare located in the children’s building. When you RSVP, please include the name and age of each child included on your reservation for childcare. Please arrive earlier to get your child to the childcare area and secure your seat for the ceremony. Childcare drop-off will begin at 3:30 pm. Your children will join you after the ceremony for the reception.
Where is the wedding ceremony?
The ceremony is located in the chapel of Hunter Street Baptist Church. Follow signs to the chapel where there will be plenty of parking. The chapel is located on the east side of the church campus.

Where is the wedding reception?
The reception will be held at Aldridge Gardens. Parking is very limited so we encourage families to ride together.

What is the attire?
The attire is semi-formal. Suit/coat and tie and cocktail dress/jumpsuit. No jeans, please!
When should out of town guests reserve accommodations?
Out-of-town guests should secure hotel accommodations by February 15th for Holiday Inn Express, Hoover, Alabama or March 1st for Hyatt Place, Birmingham/Hoover, Alabama.
Reservations with a special wedding rate will be included using the links on the "travel" tab of this website. You can book online or call either hotel and mention Raybon/Walker wedding for discount.
What time should I arrive to the wedding ceremony?
Please arrive 15-30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to secure a seat.
Can I take photos during the wedding ceremony?
We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. The photographers will capture this important moment. After the ceremony is over, feel free to take photos/videos and share on social media using our #happilyeverwalker.
Can I bring my gift to the wedding?
Your presence to celebrate with us is your gift to us. If you wish to bring a gift, there will be a table at the entrance to the ceremony.
Will the ceremony, happy hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will take place indoors at the chapel of Hunter Street Baptist Church. The happy hour and reception will take place outside under a pavilion at Aldridge Gardens.
Can I bring a plus one?
To plan for our wedding, we depend on the RSVP of everyone attending the wedding. We are only expecting the individuals who are listed on your invitation.
What is the expected weather on wedding day?
Alabama weather can be unpredictable. Right now, the expected daytime high is 69 and the low is 62. The weather says serve thunderstorms so it’s highly suggested to bring an umbrella just in case.
Where should I sit at the wedding ceremony?
The first few rows of seats will be reserved for immediate family but all others are open seating. However, please fill from front to back so there’s no random gaps.
