Our weekend is coming quick, we’re only a week away from fun and the celebration! We wanted to send out some more information and reminders before the stay.

For starters, you are welcome to come any time after 11am on Friday. We will be doing lots of set up, but the resort is for us to use and enjoy. When you put the address for Footprints Resort into your GPS, you will miss the proper driveway, but we will have a couple road signs just before the drive and a banner at the entrance to get you in the right spot.

To get the keys to your room, someone from your party will meet with one of the bridesmaids to get you checked in. Everyone will need to fill out a resort waiver before getting room keys. The waiver is for be use of the BBQ’s, watersports equipment, bikes, pool, and trails on the resort.

There are lots of BBQ’s should you wish to cook yourself some fixings at any time. Every room has a bigger size mini fridge to keep your bevvies cool and the water at the resort is drinkable.

Rooms also have Keurig coffee machine. A couple pods will be there along with coffee mugs. We will also have coffee in the outdoor kitchen and main lobby, along with sugar, milk and cream. We are trying to be conscious of our waste, however, we will provide small disposable cups. If you use the coffee mug provided you will be responsible for cleaning it. If you have a favourite reusable coffee thermal you can bring that.

There are two large kitchens on the site that are very well equipped. Saturday the main lobby/chalet will be closed as the Bride and her team will be getting ready there.

Dress code! We want everyone to be relaxed, be comfortable and have fun. Please wear comfortable dress attire (comfy shoes recommended due to the rocky/grassy terrain). The Bride, Groom and Entourage will be dressed to impress. We ask that you save the track suit and swim trunks for before and after the parttyyyy! Bonus points for a floral after dinner as Matt loves a good Hawaiian shirt!

Some things you may want to bring:

- Water bottle

- Saturday lunch

- Snacks

- Bug spray – the scent of the wedding will be bug spray (arôme bug repulse), don’t worry about perfume or cologne

- Towel for the beach & a towel for the shower

- Some water bottles for your room if you don’t want to drink the tap water

- Water shoes (not necessary but may be preferred)

- Sunscreen

- Comfy shoes/sneakers – the resort is not paved and has lots of gravel

We have some available rooms/cabins on the resort, first come first serve if you'd like to stay the weekend! Please send us a message if you're interested in staying both Friday and Saturday night on the resort.

Rates are between $175-$250 a night including Friday night dinner, non-alcoholic beverages and breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning.

Camping is also available for the adventurous!

We have a block of rooms booked at a local motel (info under the travel tab) as well, there are some local airbnbs.

What to Bring:

Please bring your own alcoholic beverages for Friday and Saturday during the day (if you wish to consume prior to the ceremony). Our bar will be open bar following the ceremony.

There are plenty of BBQ's available with unlimited propane for everyone to use. All rooms have a fridge. Please bring any food and snacks you wish to eat for Saturday prior to our ceremony.

Bring a towel for the beach & a towel if you wish to shower. Water shoes. You'll want to bring bug spray and sunscreen.

Come relax and celebrate everyone together!

There will be some family friendly dogs on the resort.

While we appreciate the thought behind gifts,

please know that your presence is present enough.

We have chosen this venue as it represents what we truly cherish, the time spent with our friends and family.

We're fortunate to have a house filled with

many things and have already started building

our life together. As such, we won't have a

registry. If you still wish to give, contribution towards our life together as newlyweds is appreciated. Thank you so much for being a part of our weekend of love!
