HOW DID WE MEET?

We met October 29th, 2022, at Molly and Gabe Smallwood's wedding. I was the maid of honor, and he was a groomsman. Molly and Gabe had been talking to both of us about the other and how we needed to talk at the wedding. They thought we would be a great match. We ended up talking while getting their car ready for their exit and while cleaning up. One thing led to another, and we planned our first date for two weeks later.

FIRST DATE

We talked about many things to do but we finally came up with meeting in Louisville, KY to hang out and see our newly married friends. Little did we know it was going to snow in the middle of November. That did not stop us! We both drove to Louisville and had such a good time. We ate pizza, drank coffee, did Activate Games, and much more. It was so good; we planned a second date and many more!

PROPOSAL

We got engaged on Friday, November 17th, 2023, at Laurel Falls in Gatlinburg, TN. We were spending the weekend in Gatlinburg with friends. I (Channing) had no idea that he was planning on proposing. When we made it to the falls, Adam asked if I wanted to take a selfie in front of the waterfall. We took the picture and then he got down on one and asked me to marry him.
