On Friday evening, we will be hosting a relaxed braai at the venue. It's a great opportunity for everyone to gather, socialise, and kick off the wedding weekend with delicious food and good company.
What time does the wedding ceremony start on Saturday?
Please make sure to be seated at 3pm. The wedding ceremony will commence at 3:30 PM on Saturday.
Is breakfast provided on Sunday morning?
Yes! We will all have breakfast together at the venue on Sunday morning before bidding farewell.
Can I bring my children to the wedding?
If you know us, you know that we absolutely adore children and cherish their presence. However, due to the intimate nature of our wedding, we have only extended invitations to a very limited number of children. If your child's name is not specifically listed on the RSVP list, we kindly ask that you make arrangements for a babysitter during the event. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you on our special day.
When and where is the wedding (and all the festivities of the weekend) taking place?
Harmonie Proteas, from the Friday afternoon until Sunday morning (after breakfast), everything will take place at the same venue.
What should I pack for the weekend?
As the wedding takes place in February, we recommend packing clothing suitable for both warm and cooler weather. Cullinan can have varied temperatures during this time, so bring a mix of layers to ensure your comfort throughout the weekend. The weather forecast indicates a daytime temperature ranging between 25-30°C (77-86°F) and cooler evenings with temperatures around 15-20°C (59-68°F).

How far is the venue from OR Tambo airport?
The distance from OR Tambo Airport to the venue is approximately 79 kilometers (49 miles). The driving time may vary depending on traffic conditions, but it is typically around 1 hour and 15 minutes. We recommend allowing some extra time for unforeseen delays and considering the traffic conditions at the time of your travel. We will also provide a map and directions to get to the venue closer to the time.
Are credit and debit cards accepted at the venue, or do I need cash?
Please note that the venue operates on a strict CASH-ONLY policy. Credit and debit cards will not be accepted for any transactions. We kindly request that you come prepared with sufficient cash to cover any expenses or purchases you may have during the event. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and compliance with the venue's policy.
Can I bring my own alcohol for the Friday night braai?
Absolutely! Please note for the Saturday night, this is not allowed, during the wedding ceremony and reception, only purchases from the bar will be allowed.
