It was the summer of 2023, when Char Ray and Jaylin met. Between them was an instant connection, that would blossom into a beautiful romance. By August, he'd decided it was time to make her his forever. He proposed right before leaving to return to Howard University for school.

With him in D.C, and her in Cleveland, weekend visits became routine. She would travel to D.C., exploring the city, and he would come to Cleveland spending time with her and her family. They dated long distance for over a year!

When summer returned, they were reunited. Eventually Char Ray made the decision to move to D.C, where her love awaited.

By November their new lives had begun. The pair were fortunate enough to spend the holidays with family. And on Christmas Day, Jaylin proposed again! This time he received the blessing of Char Ray's family, and when she said yes, they were surrounded by those that love them.

And so, their journey continues, hand in hand, as they prepare to enter a marriage with love for each other, their families, and God.
