We request our guests dress in formal attire.

Our wedding theme is garden party, and our colors are sage and pistachio green, pastel duty rose, and gold. We encourage light, summery colors and florals.

The ceramony will be a 30 minute, outdoor event. The reception that follows directly after will be mostly indoors, with an optional outdoor area.

Some guests do have extra seats held for them, and it is specified on their invitation. Unfortunately, we are unable to make this accomodation for all guests.

Although we would love to celebrate with as may of our loved ones as possible, please understand that this event is ages 15+ and only individuals whose names are listed on the invitations have seats held in their honor.

We are using Greenvelope to send out our all digital invitations for ease of organization. Please use the RSVP option on the text message invitation you receive.

We ask all of our guest to respond by no later than May 12th.

Our ceremony and reception will both be held at the Oaks Wedding Venue in Ponchatula, LA.

Yes, there is plenty of parking available right outside the venue.

The local weather can be very warm. Although the portions of the wedding that are outdoors will be short, we recommend our guests dress for warm weather.

To start, Italian meat balls, boudin balls, and spinach and artichoke bread will be served as appetizers. Following this, the main course will consist of either apple-glazed pork loin or penne-marinara bake as the entree with an option of mixed vegetables and/or red beans and rice as accompaniments.

Yes, wine, beers, and top-shelf mixed drinks will be served at no expense to our guests. We trust that our guests will drink resposibly and hope that they enjoy our special day.

We ask our attendants to arrive at the venue between six o’clock and six fifteen. Please understand that individuals who arrive after the ceremony has begun will be guided to wait in the reception area.

Yes! While we do ask that our guests refrain from taking their phones out during the ceremony, we encourage taking photos at our reception. In fact, please use our photo booth and hashtag!
