Charisse and Zack’s love story didn’t exactly start with fairy-tale romance—it started with bottomless mimosas, a lady friend, and some very loud wedding invitations. It all went down when Jamila introduced Charisse to the crew. Charisse immediately struck up a conversation with Vidal, discovering they were both economics teachers. Over endless mimosas, they bonded over lesson plans, shared resources, and debated whether supply and demand made a good party trick (spoiler: it doesn’t). Meanwhile, Zack was busy being the absolute life of the party. Zack wasn’t hard to miss—fresh haircut, big smile, and an energy that screamed, “You’re all coming to my sister’s wedding back East, no excuses!” He was going table to table, mimosas in hand, extending wedding invitations like they were party favors. Charisse did notice him. Who wouldn’t? The fade was sharp, the smile was cute, and his “lady friend” hanging nearby seemed... friendly. Charisse, being a lady of class and focus, stayed in her economic bubble with Vidal and avoided Zack’s tequila-like energy. Zack, on the other hand, barely registered the serious woman in the corner passionately debating syllabus ideas. “Does she not like mimosas?” he probably thought, before moving on to invite three strangers to his sister’s wedding. Fast forward, and somehow, amidst the spreadsheets and the champagne, the economist and the party starter ended up together. Maybe it was destiny. Maybe it was mimosas. Or maybe Zack eventually realized Charisse was the best “resource” in the room. Cheers to weddings, economics, and all-you-can-drink mimosas bringing opposites together! 🥂
