Charity: Preston and I met the first week of college (officially during a floor meeting), but I held the door open for Preston as he moved his couch in. We quickly became friends and would hang out in large groups mostly while camping.
Preston: We both connected about not wanting to be in school, but 'having' to be there... I liked her vibe, so I let her dye my muzzy pink.

Charity: This is a photo from the first time we hung out (just the 2 of us!) I decided that I wanted to make caramel apples and watch Hocus Pocus, so I got the ingredients and invited some friends. Preston was the only one free. I can honestly say that I was not disappointed.
Preston: I did not care about the apples. I didn't think that I even liked caramel apples, I was confused about mixing fruits and caramel. But I didn't care that much, I even wore my mask properly just to hang out with Charity

Charity: I think the best part of this time in our "pre-relationship" was that he had a massive crush on me so I could convince him to do anything. Hence us playing Pretty Pretty Princess.
Preston: I like the yellow bandana.

Charity: Fast forward, we've now been dating for over a year and Preston finally comes to Danville. He meets the family and did not run away!
Preston: I remember being overwhelmed hearing that she had 9 siblings, fortunately I got a beautiful PowerPoint that I studied on the way down, with each sibling's name and face.

Charity: Still dating! I am able to convince Preston to get awkward photos with me.
Preston: This was weird, but so is Charity. I felt uncomfortable, but it made her very happy and that's what matters

Charity: We celebrate our 3-year anniversary in Traverse City! This is around the time I start getting antsy about getting that shiny diamond.
Preston: This was a very fun time, lots of bougieness up in traverse city. But even more laughs and smiles shared

Charity: First photo together as an ENGAGED COUPLE! Preston and I started our date at the Greek Orthodox Food Festival. We drank coffee, ate gyros, baklava, chocolate, and so much more. Then we went to Reed's Lake and started to go on a walk. Preston proposed on the pier! Then we got attacked by mosquitos as we finished the walk.
Preston: I thought I'd be cool on this day, but I about crapped my pants. Charity would always ask when this day would come, and I started to feel guilty for all the fibbing I was doing about it. Very happy to continue our journey together and glad I don't have to lie about having her ring
