Our Wedding

We technically met through the bride’s brother, Bentley (our unsuspecting matchmaker), who met Charles during their first year at LSU Law. Years later, at a New Year's Eve wedding in 2019, we hit it off somewhere between the bar and the dance floor. We haven’t stopped talking since that night. We now share a home in Baton Rouge. In July, Charles proposed at our home in front of our dog, Brady, and our 2 cats, Arya and Rosie.

Wedding Day Transportation

We encourage all guests to utilize the provided transportation to and from the wedding venue on Saturday. Note that there are no taxis or ride-share services in Highlands, and we want to ensure that everyone can safely return to their hotels following the reception. Round-trip transportation will be provided to/from The Farm, the wedding venue. There are two pick-up/drop-off locations: 16 Church Street and 200 Main. Transportation to the wedding venue will start at 4:45 p.m. Buses will run in 15-minute increments. Buses will depart from the wedding venue and return guests to 16 Church St. and 200 Main starting as early as 8:30 PM.

ARE RIDE SHARES AVAILABLE IN HIGHLANDS, NC

Uber and Lyft are not reliable in Highlands, so we recommend renting a car and bringing it with you. There are a few local transportation companies, but they can't guarantee they will be available all weekend.

WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED FOR THE CEREMONY & RECEPTION? 

We highly encourage using the transportation provided by Old Edwards Inn. The schedule will be posted to the "Wedding Day Transportation" tab closer to the event day. There is parking onsite at the venue if you choose to drive instead of utilizing the transportation provided.
