We first met in high school, though we didn’t date back then.

Fast forward more than a decade our story truly began.

In 2024, Charlie decided to reach out to Promise on Instagram—sliding into her DMs, as they say—and from our very first messages, we both felt something special.

After a few conversations, we couldn’t wait to meet in person.... Again

Our first date was on May 12, 2024, at Roosters. It was love at first sight. Our conversation flowed naturally, the chemistry was undeniable, and we had each other laughing the entire time. It felt so effortless, like we had finally found the connection we’d been searching for all along.

For Promise, growing up meant hearing the incredible love story of her grandparents, Grandma and Poppy. Their instant connection and enduring love became a model for the kind of love she wanted—and with Charlie, she found it.

For Charlie, Promise became the missing piece of his life, filling it with laughter, joy, and adventure.

Together, we balance each other perfectly. Charlie is kind, patient, and loving Promise brings warmth, excitement, and a shared love of spooky things to Charlie’s life. We’re each other’s perfect match, and we can’t wait for the adventures ahead.

On October 11, 2024, Charlie proposed at the Witches Tower in Hills and Dales Park. Nichole, Promise’s best friend, was hiding in the bushes to witness and attempt to capture the moment. When Charlie got down on one knee, it was intimate, magical, and so perfectly us.
