Gina and Charlie met during the first week of school freshman year at Marist College. They were on a bus coming back from a Yankee game that the school had organized as a bonding event for incoming freshman. Gina was in a hurry to get off the bus because she was running late (nothing has changed) to her dance team practice. Charlie noticed the girl rushing to get off the bus and thought she was pretty cute.

Charlie and Gina lived in neighboring dorm buildings and would see eachother around campus and out on the weekends. Finally, Charlie decided to ask Gina to hang out and the rest is history !

Gina and Charlie spent 4 years together at Marist College. Gina was on the dance team and Charlie was always there to cheer her on at games. They had some of their earliest memories dancing the night away at Cocos and Mahoney's.

Gina and Charlie both graduated from Marist in 2015 and then in 2016 Gina moved to Philadelphia to begin Optometry School. At the same time, Charlie moved to NYC to begin his career.

During the 4 years that Gina was away at Optometry School, Charlie and Gina made every effort possible to see eachother. Charlie visited often and loved exploring a new city with her, and he was kind enough to let Gina practice all the skills she was learning on his eyes.

In 2020, Gina graduated optometry school and a few months later, Gina and Charlie moved into an apartment in NYC together (the city was still in the midst of COVID, making this an interesting move). Gina accepted a position with a private optometry practice with several locations, one of them being in NYC, while Charlie continued his career in the city.

For the past three years, Gina and Charlie have found a way to make the biggest city in the world feel like home. They have done so much exploring in all that NYC has to offer.

On November 12, 2022 Charlie proposed to Gina in Central Park, a special place where they tend to spend their mornings. Charlie surprised Gina with a photoshoot by her college roommate Katie who was hiding behind a tree during the proposal. Charlie took Gina to an amazing greek steakhouse that night and just went she thought the day was over she showed up to a bar only to be surprised with all her friends and family there!!

Only a week later, Gina and Charlie got Lyla, their Golden Retriever pup and the story is now only beginning...
