Charlie and I met like many couples do. At work! I had just moved back out to Boulder, Colorado to start a new job with a telecom company called Zayo Group. I got there early on the first day and was sat at a cluster of desks with other teammates who started the month before me. Sitting kitty corner from me, a guy popped his head up from the desk to introduce himself as Charlie Nichols.

We quickly realized we lived less than a block away from each other and after my first week, started walking to work together.

Charlie and I started hanging out more and more until eventually I took him out on our first date.. or he took me out… it’s still a disagreement to this day which date is technically the “first”.

After about 6 months of being good friends, Charlie bought a 1998 red Jeep so he could start taking me camping and it was through camping we realized it was more than a friendship. We started dating and don’t plan to stop dating anytime soon!

We are first and foremost best friends and no time in the world will ever be enough time together. We’re excited to take this next step in our relationship and have our closest family and friends be there to witness!
