What time should I arrive

The ceremony begins at 4:30. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to find a seat and settle in. There is plenty of parking at the venue, and for your convenience, a shuttle is scheduled from the hotel listed under the 'travel' tab as well. Cocktail hour and the reception will follow.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held on-site at The Gardens at Applecross County Club. This is located in the far right building, not the main country club.

Will transportation be available?

Yes, there will be transportation between the venue and hotel. The bus to the venue will leave the Hilton hotel at 3:45 and 4:00pm sharp in order to make it to the venue in time (approx 15 minute drive). Additionally, the venue has extensive parking available to guests and cars may be left overnight if needed.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and cocktail hour are located on the garden terrace, weather permitting, with dinner and dancing to follow in the formal ballroom.

Are kids invited?

Due to limited space we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adult-only event. We hope you understand and can enjoy a fun date night!

What is the dress code?

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. We are requesting guests wear formal attire for our wedding. Ladies can wear midi/tea length, floor length dresses or equivalent attire. Gentleman can wear a suit & tie, no jeans please. We respectfully request that you please refrain from whites, creams, ivory, and champagne-colored outfits for the night.

Are accommodations available nearby?

Yes, we have arranged for special room rates at nearby hotels (The Hilton is our preferred hotel). Please visit the Accommodations section for more information and booking details.

Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?

Yes! We will be serving passed and stationary hors d’oeuvres accompanied by various drinks. We invite you to toast to our nuptials with a curated selection of wine, beer and cocktails.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes, we will have an open bar with a variety of beverages for you to enjoy throughout the evening.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation as {your name} & Guest. We would love to keep the wedding as intimate as possible with close family and friends. Thank you for understanding!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We ask you to kindly turn off and silence your phones during the wedding ceremony and refrain from taking photos. We have professional photographers and videographers on site to capture all of the special moments and are excited to share those photos with you after.
