How did it all start?

Her perspective:

Brent and I met during the winter of 2020 right before Christmas. I was NOT looking for a boyfriend at the time, but he was looking for a dog trainer. He booked an assessment with me to meet his dog and start training. This led to us meeting in person for the first time on a frigid Thursday evening in the middle of winter. I met him and immediately I knew that he wasn't going to be just another dog training client.

At first we bonded over our love for animals and the outdoors, but it didn't take long for me to catch feelings for him. We officially began dating January 5, 2020.

His perspective:

I first started talking to Charlotte when I was looking for a dog trainer to help my dog with recall. When I first met her in person I was just astonished by how smart and intelligent she was, and then became very attracted to how beautiful she was.

In my point of you our first date was when we took both our dogs out to Teays Valley Park that winter. After that date I realized that I loved her, and I knew that we would have a serious and meaningful relationship. Four years later my feelings of love for her are still very strong and I'm excited to celebrate that, with our friends and family at our wedding!

How long have you been dating?

Brent and I have been together for 4 years! Throughout those 4 years we have been there for each other through so many ups and downs, and have been able to support one another through some of our biggest accomplishments!

Where was your first date?

This depends on which one of us you ask. We had a few first dates, including a walk in the park with our dogs, a movie night, and a birthday trip to Dairy Queen. However, if you're asking me, our official first date was at Buffalo Wild Wings, after church one Sunday where we made it official.

Where did you get engaged?

We got engaged at the overlook at Hawk's Nest State Park on a beautiful spring day March 16, 2023.

When is the wedding?

Our wedding day is Saturday December 21, 2024! Our wedding will be a family oriented, intimate gathering, where we look forward to celebrating the day with our closest friends and family.
