By plane —

Guests should fly into Nashville, TN (BNA) or Chattanooga, TN (CHA) to get to all accommodations.

By car —

Sewanee is about a 1.5 hour drive from Nashville and about an 1 hour drive from Chattanooga.

Rental cars are also readily available at BNA or CHA. If you're flying, we recommend renting a car to get to-and-from the airport and get around town (there are no ride apps). We will have a shuttle service the day of the wedding to get you to and from the ceremony and reception.

If you fly into Chattanooga or Atlanta, please know those cities are in the Eastern time zone, while Sewanee is in Central time zone (1 hour behind Eastern).

Sewanee is small...and we are taking over! There are a handful of hotels and inns in Sewanee/Monteagle, but we highly recommend checking out Airbnb or VRBO. There are several great rental options on campus or close by. We have provided a list below of places we recommend, but please do not hesitate to reach out if you need any help or recommendations finding a place to stay!

The Smokehouse Lodge and Cabins

The smokehouse is about a 7 minute drive to Sewanee. They have hotel rooms and cabins in the back for bigger groups!

Monteagle Inn & Retreat Center

Sit in a rocker on the front porch with a hot cup of coffee or glass of wine. Expansive herb and flower gardens invite you to enjoy the colors and fragrances.

The Edgeworth Inn

Located on the historic grounds of the Monteagle Sunday School Assembly atop the Cumberland Plateau, the Edgeworth Inn, is a haven from the everyday concerns of the modern world. The moment you enter the Monteagle Assembly, you find yourself in a world frozen in time. (Rooms are not blocked at this location.) The Monteagle Sunday School Assembly is a historic Chautauqua community located in Monteagle, TN (6 miles from Sewanee) also offers cottages for rent.
