Sachin and I met when we were small kids and we met again when he first came to America and started out as great friends. YOU KNOW the inseparable friendship and I guess that is the reason why we still are friends after fourteen years.

Charmi and I have not lived an ordinary love story. From when we met to the joys and challenges we have faced. Our story is unique.

One moment you're sniggering besides each other, and the next you’re staring into each other’s eyes, for our relationship, it took decades and a bunch of experience with different ones on either side before a light bulb goes off in our heads and we realized that this is - OMG - THE ONE’’.

I did not expect my future husband to walk through the doors of my house but YES this is exactly how we met. I remember the first time we started talking which was at my kitchen table. He was sitting across from me as we discussed my freshmen year in high school. At the time I did not think anything of it. I never thought this guy would be the one I ended up marrying.

After our conversations I realized that sooner or later we will end up being friends. As I expected, shortly after, we became amazing friends and we always have such a great conversations that never seemed to finish. We always had so much to talk about and soon after we started enjoying each other's company.

Life can be so unpredictable you never know what is going to happen at any given moment. As I have stated before life is full of surprises and it works in weird ways. This is why I do not take anything so seriously because what is meant for you will always find its way sooner or later...

I was ecstatic when I found the photograph of us together when we were kids. Looking at that photograph I instantly realized that God made our JODI in heaven.

The proposal sets the stage for our incredible journey towards becoming husband and wife. From a carefully orchestrated and spontaneous proposal so I came up with this idea that I have never seen before to ask if she'd make me the happiest man on earth and be my wife.

She wanted to go visit the Pink City last time she visited India, so when I finally had a chance to propose. I told her lets go to travelling and I made all the bookings for the air balloon and when we actually went to the pink city I asked her if she wanted to take the air balloon ride, and she was excited.

So the earliest morning on the summer day in the Pink City, I took her for a ride in the hot air balloon and proposed to her and expressed my feelings about how I wanted to spend every moment of my life with her. AND SHE SAID YES !!!
