Once upon a swipe right in 2018, our best friends Dylan and Jesse matched on Tinder—setting off not just their own love story, but ours as well. Thanks to their connection, we were able to meet. After a long drive to Arkansas with their friends, and upon their first meeting, Chase knew something was there. Christine, stubborn as she is, wasn’t ready to admit her best friend might be right about anything, let alone about her love life and them being perfect for each other. Four years (and quite a bit of gentle nudging) later, Dylan and Jesse were preparing to move states. Which meant that chances to meet were coming to an end. Since this move meant being separated from friends, Dylan and Jesse did what they do best, they threw a party. And on that chilly night on the porch, with a blanket and a bit of courage, Chase made his move and held Christine’s hand. The spark was undeniable, and the rest is history… kind of. Because Chase still needed a bit more courage and Christine needed to still be a little less stubborn. Soon after, Dylan and Jesse invited us to join them on a cruise. Another opportunity to meet had presented itself! Deciding that they needed to get to know each other before embarking on a boat together, which would lead to “embarking” on their relationship, we began months and months of texting (i.e.. Actually getting to know each other). Once we were able to meet again in person for the trip, with a small confession and a nervous kiss on the cheek, we became a couple. Not long after, we were planning a big move and building a life together. With Dylan’s help, Chase found the perfect ring and a perfect moment: another cruise! On a sunny day at sea, he got down on one knee… and realized the ring wasn’t in the box. (Don't worry—he found it! It was in his backpack.) She said yes. And now, here we are—ready to write our next chapter together
