Chase and Jamie are the product of the E.L. Weigand Fitness center at UNR. Chase was a freshman, Jamie was a graduating senior. Though they had worked out in the same facility, they had not cordially met until the gyms Friendsgiving. Chase was underdressed and Jamie was beautiful and caught Chases attention like bees to honey. They'd probably love to say that they spent the entire night gazing into each other's eyes and other romantic crap, but that's not at all what happened. Jamie sent Chase a follow request on instagram after they had barely spoke to each other all night. Much to Chases delight he followed her back. After a brief period of seeing each other at the gym, Chase commented on a graduation post, to which JAMIE DM'ed CHASE. They got to know each other more, and Chase liked her enough to move past the fact that she was a Bama Fan. They had a great first date! Serendipitously, Chase also went to Jamies graduation with the thought of "well, if we get married one day, I gotta say I went to her college graduation". But the timing was not perfect yet. There was a game of cat and mouse, you can probably decide who was who. Remember Jamie is older than Chase, and is a cougar by default. That's your only hint. By the end of the Chases freshman school year, they had decided to go separate ways for the summer. Chase had the summer of fun and Jamie had the summer of divine intervention. Chase returned back to Reno for school and competed in a local competition. Jamie was of course there, and had already started texting Chase upon his arrival back to Reno. Funny enough, Jamie had positioned herself at the end of Chases lane THE ENTIRE WEEKEND, very distracting. After the competition, Chase had invited Jamie over to his bachelor pad (ie 750 square feet studio apartment) for dinner and to see if there was a chance for the relationship to rekindle. Oh boy was there. After a phenomenal dinner cooked by Chase, they had a long discussion and decided to try again. They officially became a couple on September 15th 2018 after Jamies coworkers birthday party, and after Chase was absolutely grilled/interrogated by all of Jamies coworkers. They have been inseparable ever sence.

Since the night they officially became a couple, their love has deepened and grown into a form of love that is indescribable. They have been there for each other through many instances of life, both good and bad, and through each one, have grown stronger. They moved into a beautiful home and made it their own, added 2 dogs to the family, Chase finally turned 21, and they celebrated Chases graduation. After his graduation, Chase finally started making preparations to propose. After a long time of deciding, thinking, and planning, Chase had finally decided. They were going to go to Alaska "for a trip", and Chase was going to ask Jamie to be his person forever.

The couple to be left for Juneau AK, and after flight delays and Chase checking to make sure the ring was in his carry-on approximately 5 billion times, they got to their room at 2am. The next morning they woke up, had coffee and cinnamon rolls, and headed to eagle beach. It was a beautiful drive through Alaskas scenery. They arrived to the beach, which Chase had meticulously scoped out through Google Maps. It was more beautiful than imagined. As a slight back track, Chase had stared at his ceiling for the 3 months leading up to this moment pretending to be asleep, planning out this day and what he was gonna say. He would also get random anxiety while doing normal tasks. Ok back to the beach. As they were walking around and taking in all of the beauty, Chase was herding Jamie to a spot that looked perfect. As they were walking that way, Chase found a gift from his deceased grandparents, who he sadly never got to meet. It was a perfect pine tree twig inside of a beautiful white shell. The couple had long seen themselves as the Ocean (Chase) connected to the Mountains (Jamie). He took this shell and pine tree twig as a blessing from his grandparents. Chase set up his phone on a piece of driftwood and positioned Jamie in front of the camera. He pulled her close, AND FORGOT EVERYTHING HE HAD REHEARSED IN HIS HEAD LOOKING AT HIS CEILING THE MONTHS LEADING UP IT! Luckily, he remembered the most important words, "will you marry me?". Jamie said yes! It was the best day of both of their lives. They had a great rest of their weekend in Alaska. Fast forward to the wedding, Chase and Jamie are beyond excited to get married and spend the rest of eternity together.
