It all began on May 3rd 2022, ironically his bday, when Alison Ruff posted a picture of Chase with her 3 girls for a birthday post. I messaged her and said, I dont see a ring on his finger yet! She replied the next day and said, “Message him, he’s single...at least I think.”


Back Story, I met Josiah and Alison through the Cotas over a decade ago! In fact, we had even hung out at a party or two before they even knew Chase. Alison and I have been friends on Facebook since 2012 but hadn’t seen each other in years.


So with Alison’s blessing and a little encouragement, I messaged Chase, we exchanged numbers and we texted every single day until we decided to meet for a drink at Troll Pub on May 22. We quickly became inseparable as we started hanging out on the weekends and cooking together every Wednesday.
On June 28th, 2022 we decided to become officially, official and then on July 13, 2023 Chase proposed at the Taylorsville Park after an adorable and very thoughtful picnic. He asked if I would promise to do picnics forever and then asked me to marry him... of course I said, “YES!”
Our love story is the perfect example of true love is worth waiting for, God puts people in our life for a reason, and don’t be afraid to be bold and put yourself out there...you have nothing to lose.
