CHAPTER 3 | JASON’S WEDDING PARTY | JUNE 05, 2025

Kalindra Ashleigh | Maid of Honor

Picture of Kalindra Ashleigh | Maid of Honor

Our story began during the chaos and glitter of award season in Los Angeles. Kalindra had been flown in from The Four Seasons Dallas to assist at the L.A. property, and I had just joined as one of the newest concierges in town. I was brand new to the city and slightly intimidated of the confident, still friendly, Texan.
In our very first week, Kalindra casually invited me and another coworker out for a post-shift drink. What I thought would be a quiet cocktail turned into a full-blown L.A. nightlife montage. One minute we were sipping wine, the next she was gliding past a mile-long club line like she owned the place. People shouted and glared behind us as she bypassed them all; then the velvet rope magically opened.
She was just as new to L.A. as I was, but she simply dropped to the doorman “I’m concierge from Dallas visiting” like it was some secret password and her Disney princess charisma did the rest.
That wild night kicked off a friendship that’s been full of laughter, late-night talks, red carpets, wrong turns, and ride-or-die moments. Kalindra brings the energy of five people, the heart of gold, and the social finesse of a Hollywood publicist. One spontaneous drink turned into years of unforgettable memories.

Landon Moore | Best Man

Picture of Landon Moore | Best Man

Landon and I first met on his very first day after moving to Los Angeles from Chicago at a concierge event in the heart of Beverly Hills. It’s hard not to notice Landon with his magnetic energy and effortless charm tend to light up any room he walks into.
What began as a friendly connection within our concierge community quickly deepened over time. He became more than a familiar face at these concierge events and he became a true confidant, someone I could rely on through thick and thin.
Over the years, our friendship has grown into something that feels more like family. Landon isn’t just one of my best friends he’s like a brother to me and the person who’s just a text or shout across the hallway in our apartment complex away. Living just feet apart in the same apartment complex has been a rare and beautiful luxury. It’s my Melrose Place tv show dream come true, minus the drama.
Some of my favorite memories are the simple, spontaneous ones. Countless nights spent on either of our couches, sipping wine and belting out songs from Wicked like we were auditioning for Broadway. There’s been laughter, late-night heart-to-hearts, unfiltered advice, and endless moments of showing up for each other without needing to be asked.

Terrie Mora

It’s remarkable to look back and realize that, at just 20 years old, I was entrusted with the responsibility of training her during my very first job in the hospitality industry. At the time, I was juggling college classes and early concierge career ambitions filled with enthusiasm and drive, but still learning the finer points of time management.
From the moment she joined the team, she carried herself with a confidence I admired. She always stepped in with support and understanding often covering for me without complaint or question; we have many laughs to this day of the excuses she would use to cover my tardiness.
What began as a simple workplace partnership evolved into a truly meaningful friendship. We quickly discovered how effortlessly we connected through our many long conversations and mutual humor that made even the busiest shifts feel lighter. Over the years our bond grew stronger. We’ve traveled together, shared countless memories, and stood by each other through life’s inevitable ups and downs. No matter the moment, she has always been someone I could count on for perspective, laughter, and genuine support.
Ours is the kind of friendship that feels both grounding and enduring. It’s built on trust, mutual respect, and a deep understanding that has only grown with time. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have begun my career alongside someone who not only shaped my early professional journey but has remained a steady, meaningful presence in my life ever since.

Amanda Riccio

Picture of Amanda Riccio

I first met Amanda on her very first day in Los Angeles at a concierge event held at the Petersen Automotive Museum. Even in a crowd of strangers, her calm presence and radiant energy stood out immediately. We connected so naturally that night and I saved her in my phone as Amanda SLS Hotel. Despite the years and milestones since, I still haven’t changed in my phone.
From that moment on, our friendship took off. There was always an ease between us with effortless conversation, shared laughs, and a mutual understanding that made even the busiest workdays more fun. What started as a professional connection quickly evolved into something much deeper.
Over the years, we’ve grown together through life’s many twists and turns. From our carefree single days to the lives we’ve built since, Amanda has remained a constant always steady, trustworthy, and always just a text away.

Lea Jay

t’s funny how sometimes the best friendships sneak up on you. From the very beginning there was this natural and effortless connection. As the partner of one of Roberto’s best friends we technically met through them, but over the years our friendship has truly taken on a life of its own.
We’ve already packed in a collection of fabulous memories, celebrations, evenings filled with both laughter and great conversations. Through all of it theres been a genuine love and comfort.

Maurice Escobar

Picture of Maurice Escobar

Our friendship began during our time working at the Montage Beverly Hills an environment full of polished hospitality, high expectations, and the occasional chaos that only luxury service can deliver. Although we worked in different departments, he had a way of bridging the gaps between teams. His warmth, generosity, and gracious spirit made everyone feel included.
From the very beginning, there was something steady and genuine about our connection. What started as a professional bond quickly became something much more enduring. Over the years, as life took us in different directions, in his case different continents, we’ve remained constants in each other’s lives. Time zones and distance kept us apart at times, but that deep sense of connection never wavered.
There’s always been a core strength at the heart of our friendship. No matter the circumstances or how much time had passed, we’ve always known we could count on each other whether it was to share in a celebration, lend a listening ear, or offer support during life’s more difficult moments.

Fredy Chavez

As Roberto’s youngest brother, he naturally came into my life as family, but over the years, he’s become so much more than that. From the start, there was an ease to our friendship that felt effortless. We clicked quickly, bonding over our shared love of sweet treats and the kind of conversations that just flowed so easily.
I still remember when I first met him bringing me home an empanada from dinner he had with Roberto. Watching him grow into the confident, thoughtful young man he is today has been a real joy. He’s gone from a young teenager I’d joke around with to someone I truly admire.
There’s a lightness and humor to our relationship that’s always made it special, but also a depth that’s grown with time.

Crystal Chavez | Maid of Honor

Picture of Crystal Chavez | Maid of Honor

Where do I start...? LOVE... The second woman in my life that I continue to admire each and every day. The woman I was blessed to see grow from this little girl who I used to dress in Selena hair styles. The girl who I would persuade to help me with my arts and crafts and now is the queen of DIYs on Instagram. This woman with a heart of gold but stern like no other. I have been a lucky man to have grown up with such an amazing sister. I cannot express in words what she means to me and how she continues to bless my life each and every day with her presence and now double the joy with my niece, Roselyn. It is my honor to have her stand by my side on such a special day for Jason and I.

Mirian Martinez | Maid of Honor

Picture of Mirian Martinez | Maid of Honor
Once upon a time... long long long ago. I met mi amorcito bonbon. Our journey started at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in one of our Architectural Engineering courses. We both have very different stories on how our friendship began, but my story is that from the minute I saw her, I could tell she was one of a kind. Miriam radiates love, kindness, selflessness, family, passion and joy. After work, she is the first person I call. Miriam is the friend I can cry with one minute and burst out laughing with the next. It is my honor to have such a power icon of a woman stand by my side as I say I Do. Trust, she is on Jasons side.

Sabrina Esquerra

Picture of Sabrina Esquerra
The saying, It takes a village... started because of what it has taken to raise me into adulthood. Many extra ordinary woman. Sabrina, another super human I look up to. A dedicated mother of five, career driven, family oriented and a fantastic friend. I could not have imagined back in 7th grade that one day I would be reminiscing on our lives throughout the years. We have always understood each other in silence, that is how our friendship grew. My mother, till this day, has our prom picture in a frame which triggers in me a smile full of memories. Every birthday and holiday season is looked forward to because I get to see her and her lovely children, accompanied by home made dishes, game night and quality friend time. Another friend that I have the honor of celebrating with and who I treasure each and every day.

Marlen Beltran

Picture of Marlen Beltran
Where do I Begin… should we start in 7th grade? What a blessing to grow into adulthood with these beautiful women. Marlen will always be the gold on the other side of the rainbow. A treasure that you don’t find easily but many hope to find. A person you want in your path because she will always be there and…she corrects grammar. I cannot wait to celebrate her wedding next year, together we will learn how to navigate this new phase, marriage.

Tanya Acevez

Picture of Tanya Acevez
A beam of light in this universe brightening all lives that she crosses. To look up to someone older than us is common, but to look up to someone younger than myself is inspirational. Our friendship started at Sheraton Cerritos, having lunch together and me entertaining her curious mind with random questions about life. We all have such different paths and Tanya loves to learn about them. She embraces people as they are and will always find the positive side of things. I met her as a young adult and have been privileged to see her grow into a business owner and wonderful woman.

Andrea Flores

Picture of Andrea Flores
You need something done, she is your gal. Talking about super woman. Can you believe that us two crazies were studying in Italy and our mornings would start together at the universities’ gym…. Instead of starting with a coffee or gelato like all our peers. Graduates of Cal Poly Pomona, we now get to graduate together from life some day. I admire her for the strong hard working woman she is wearing a mother hat, teaching, real estate, fitness and still a friend to all her loved ones.

Erick Garcia

Picture of Erick Garcia
An incredible Texan man. I don’t know what you know about Texan men, but let me tell you about Erick. Kind, caring, welcoming, witty, smart and loves lady Gaga! Moving to a foreign state without any family or friends, my first weekend, I met my big brother. He made Texas a second home. He took the risk of having a house mate for the first time (oh, I signed a contract) to now referring to the guest room as Roberto’s room. Erick introduced me to Sunday Fundays, Whataburger and every large city in Texas. Erick loves to travel and he was with me when I asked Jason the big question in Santorini. Now, I am honored that he will stand next to us as I we say “I Do”

Guido Mancilla

Picture of Guido Mancilla
Who is this queen…? This was Guidos first thought when he first saw me post high school graduation. We first met in high school, dressed in some Air Force ones, oversized clothes and taper fade haircut. Second meet was in a 21+ night club line (Arena). I was in skinny jeans, turquoise low cut v neck, black lace up boots and straight spiked up hair half foot long. The rest is history. People knew us as the dancing queens, lol. We would dance for hours. And if punta comes on, forget it, I hand over the dance floor. Another of the sweetest and funniest guys you will ever meet. He is his family’s strength, their glimpse of joy and he will always be there by my side to dance in this journey called life.

Chris Huizar

Picture of Chris Huizar
Free spirited and kind. Our friendship started in banning high and at tiger heat. I befriended this guy who never gave a darn... a free spirit. Un hombre sin pelos en la lengua but always with his heart in the right place. His openness is refreshing and what I admire. He does have the mind of an engineer and can build you anything, but he argues like a lawyer. Chris has been part of my self love journey. With his support, I am now this better version of me and I look forward to this new role as a husband with his continued friendship.

Hernan Amezola

Picture of Hernan Amezola
The friend I was missing! I have always been blessed with beautiful people enriching my life, but my sista is who I was waiting for to complete my circle. One of the first extended friendships on Jason’s side. Hernán is the first person I ever meet who was born is the same small town I am from, Abasolo in Guanajuato, Mexico. Our roots, values, culture is what has strengthen our bond but his fun passionate energy is the spark of our friendship. Another smart fashionable business man with a promising future.

Aaron Sharpe

Picture of Aaron Sharpe
The one responsible for all this. Many friends call him “Moma.” Another man who openly loves everyone for who they are. He encourages authenticity and supports you every possible way. He is an ear that listens, a hand that gives and a friend who cares. And he will take off his hoops if someone messes with a loved one. I had the privilege of first working with Aaron in Long Beach and again in West Beverly Hills. A self made man in the hospitality world, recognized everywhere he goes and an advocate for our gay community. Aaron continues to inspire many and I am honored that he will marry Jason and I. Oh, how did this happen? Aaron invited Jason who he went to high school with to celebrate his big birthday in Puerto Vallarta which I too was invited to… and here we are.

Samantha Headley

Picture of Samantha Headley
An inspiring woman. First time we ever met, mom took us to our first family holiday celebration at work, Torrance Marriott, but instead of entering from the front of the hotel, mom brought us through the back where I entered into Sam’s home. Stepping into the banquet isle, running into Sam, mom blurts out, “Sam, my son is looking for a job.” I didn’t know that this day, mom introduced me to the second most important woman in my life. Sam, a real leader in life and at work. Sam will always do right, for people and for the greater cause. She leads by example and cares with her entire heart. Sam has been there for the second part of my journey in life: as a professional, as energy, as a man, a brother, a son, a friend and a human. Our text chat is the second largest chat in my phone. Her voice messages are the glimmers that we all need. It is my honor for Sam to walk by my side next to my parents in this new phase of life.
