Chayce and I first met back in 2015 at my local youth group. Our first interactions were having thumb wars after youth group supper and communication via twitter. We hung out for the first time after he posted a tweet saying "So who wants to hangout tonight? Any takers". Me being 16 years old and thought he was cute liked it thinking so would other people. Well I was wrong and next thing I knew he was messaging me to hangout. He drove all the way to my house and we sat on my front porch for 3 hours watching videos and just talking. Lets just say after that I was hooked on the cute guy from youth group. At the end of that summer Chayce went off to college and we began navigating a new relationship while he was in college. We dated for a year and half and quickly fell in love. Chayce and I decided to go separate ways about a month into my senior year and his sophomore year of college. We quickly realized that the phases of life we were both in were so different.

We spent 4 years apart growing as adults and finding who we were as individuals. Flash forward to November 2019 I was having a night out with the girls and woke up the next morning to Chayce calling me. After that night we started talking more and more. The feelings we both had back as teenagers came flooding back. We went on our first date right before Christmas and it felt like we never spent time apart. We quickly jumped to right back where we left off.

We knew after that first date that we wanted this to last forever. We fell in love all over again. In May of 2022 Chayce, with the help of his family, pulled off the most amazing proposal. A boat ride down the river with some family and when we got back his sister had spelled out "will you marry me" on the beach in front of the cabin. I was in shock that it was actually happening. It was the easiest yes I have ever said.

We can't wait to start this new life together!
