Tulum International Airport (TQO) is the closest airport to Amansala Resort, with a taxi ride of around 45 minutes. You can also fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN), but the taxi ride is about 2 hours and those roads have a lot more bumps in them than the newly paved highway linking TQO with Amansala.

Gabriel is a trusted taxi driver that we have used many times while in Tulum. We have arranged special rates for our guests to, and from, the Tulum International Airport, and he has multiple drivers to support our guests needs. If you would like to schedule your airport transfers through Gabriel, please include your arrival and departure flight information when you RSVP, so I can pass a collective list onto Gabriel. Gabriel, or one of his drivers, will be at the Tulum International Airport exit holding a sign that says "Kartesz Wedding" at the exit of the airport. If you use Gabriel, the rate, per transfer, will be $60.00 for an individual and $25 per person if 2 or more people are sharing a taxi. You will pay the driver directly. Gabriel does accept credit cards. You are free to use any driver of your choosing, but I do recommend that you discuss a flat rate and agree upon it before getting in the driver's car. I highly recommend downloading WhatsApp prior to your arrival in Tulum, as it is the main way people and businesses communicate.

No, not in the traditional way. We have already rented out the entire boutique hotel for all of our guests. The rooms are booked from July 9-13, 2025. Guests are free to arrive and depart anytime that works for their schedules. There is not a set check-in time during these dates, so you can arrive as early as you'd like and the front desk will have your name already assigned to a room. The room rates are offered at a discounted rate of $200 per night. All rooms have 24/7 air conditioning, and include a daily beachfront breakfast with delicious, freshly prepared cuisine. Daily beachfront breakfast is included for all of our guests. All of the guest rooms have 24/7 AC, and are located just steps from the pool and ocean. Amansala has two properties: Amansala Grande and Amansala Chica, which are located about 40 yards apart from each other. Our guests are all staying at Amansala Chica, but have access to the facilities on both properties. Amansala Chica has its own private pool, loungers, cabanas, and beach area, but if you feel like mingling, just walk right next door to Amansala Grande. Amansala Chica has a poolside bar, and Amansala Grande also has a beachside bar and restaurant with delicious fresh juices, smoothies, cocktails, and meals. Amansala Grande also has a boutique spa that offers an array of services. However, if you walk out onto the beach and turn right, there are small huts set up on the beach by locals that offer incredible oceanfront massages for a much cheaper rate. We highly recommend giving it a try! Please be aware that the showers/sinks at Amansala contain some salt water, so do not plan on drinking the water in the room. The resort includes large jugs of purified water daily with each room for guest use. Thay also have yoga mats and some workout equipment available for guest use as well. We also have our own private rooftop area in Amansala Chica that is perfect for an early morning yoga session.

Amansala is located at the "top" of Tulum's "hotel zone". From the front lobby, take a left onto the street, and walk 5-10 minutes to find a long strip of bars, restaurants, and hotels. It is completely normal to walk on the road in Tulum and you will see many other tourists doing the same. If you prefer to taxi the short drive, simply walk out of the lobby and wave a driver down. Do not forget to negotiate your rate before getting in. Our hotel also offers bicycles for guest use! If you prefer to walk along the beach instead of the road, just turn right when you step out onto the sand from the hotel.

Yes, as much as we love all the little ones, the only children that will be at our wedding are our own kids. We understand that some families prefer to travel together, so please make sure to have a sitter during the welcoming party and wedding if your children are traveling with you. In addition, you will need to book your accommodations if your children are traveling with you directly through Amansala Grande, because we do not have enough rooms at Amansala Chica to include children.
