Matt and Chelsea both attended Concordia University in Saint Paul, Minnesota.  While both had skipped around different schools, they both eventually landed at and graduated from Concordia. In true form, they were connected by members of the baseball community at Concordia.

After Matt and Chelsea graduated in 2007 and 2008 respectively, they both traversed the working world Matt finding baseball as an occupation for a while and Chelsea in the service industry and sales.

Almost five years ago, through the magic of Facebook (haha!), Matt and Chelsea reconnected and they have been together ever since. Matt popped the question on August 8th, 2020...

So here we are, at the beginning of happily ever after...
