Absence really made the heart grow fonder. Reunited after 2 months apart while CC spent the summer home with family. You can't tell from the photo, but we were in the worst fire zone in Oregon. Mike flew into Portland and within 2 hours we had to rush out of the state across the California boarder before it shut down. Will never forget the smell and the stress of that day. But so happy to be together!

After Mike made CC the best surprise birthday video, she wanted to really make him feel just as special. Pulled off the ultimate surprise party for Mike's birthday. Side Note: Beach parties at this time in LA were elite.

A new state for both! Took the van all the way to Idaho. Explored Boise, the Sawtooth Mountians, went all the way to Sun Valley. Discovered a new appreciation for Idaho.

Made it to Denver! Experienced the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Went to new local fest, Cascade Equinox. Definitely a must-go.
