Photo from 2009!Fabio and Chelsea met in the fall of 2008 at the University of Maryland. The two were neighbors in the New Leonardtown dorms and were in the same economics class. One day after a fun homecoming event where they had both spent the morning competing in games of tug of war and water balloon tosses, Chelsea realized she had online econ homework due and hadn't read the required chapter. She knocked on Fabio's door in search of help - knowing he probably hadn't read the chapter either since he was at the same event - and the rest is history! Their college experience involved lots of fraternity tailgates and evenings of sneaking Fabio into the sorority house, which brought them closer together and allowed them to meet so many of the amazing friends who they are still close with today.After college Fabio and Chelsea moved to Arlington (even though Fabio had wanted to move back to his home state of New York) where they adopted their black lab, Jack! After a short foray of living in Washington DC, they've moved back to Arlington and are now living in their new fixer-upper town house in Ballston. Fabio and Chelsea love to travel together and have romped around various countries in South America and Europe, but now they are saving their pennies so they can remodel the kitchen in their new town house. Oh yeah, and host a fun wedding for all their friends and family to enjoy.

Our wedding events take place at the Dolce Wye River Conference Center, which is a Wyndham hotel. There are 51 rooms available at the hotel and they will be available on a first come, first serve basis. We will be spending all day Friday at the hotel property and plan to go out on our family's boat, play golf, and lay by the pool, so we encourage you to come down early on Friday to join us! Rooms are locked in at a rate of $219 per night and your reservation includes a continental breakfast. Rooms are very large and have one queen bed. Air mattresses can be brought in for those looking to share their room with other guests. Please note there is no bar or restaurant on the propert.
