Chelsea and Pat met during February of 2022 in Florida. After spending a week together, they had begun to form a strong connection and knew their friendship was something special. When the two returned home they communicated regularly by phone and writing each other letters (which they still have tucked away today).

By May of 2022, Pat and Chelsea were officially a couple. Pat decided to sell his condo in Atlanta and move to the Northern VA/MD area. Chelsea was a significant consideration in this, but it also gave Pat a chance to be much closer to his siblings, who both live in the area.

The first year of their relationship had it's challenges, as the couple was still living hours apart from one another. However, they used that year to get to know each other from somewhat afar. They made the best of it, visiting each other on weekends and going on adventures to the mountains, zoo, aquarium, and visiting family.

By March of 2023, the couple was starting to plan their long-anticipated move to Reston, Virginia, where they would finally be together for good. What Chelsea didn't know was that Pat had a big treat arranged for her before their move!

Pat took Chelsea to Disney World and proposed to her on April 20, 2023. She of course said yes and it was one of the happiest days of both of their lives!

In May of 2023,the couple finally moved into their new home in Reston, VA. Since then, they have been busy working, traveling, and planning their wedding.

It's been an adventure in the making, a true love story, and the happiest time in both of our lives. Thank you to everyone who has loved and supported us. We wouldn't be here today without you!
