Where do we park?
Please keep in mind that the driveway is almost a mile long, dirt, and quite an decline/incline, so be cautious when traveling. You will branch off to the right at the split, and park where there will be designated signs.
Where do we go once we arrive?
Please follow the signs to seating! Do not enter the house unless you have been previously notified, as the wedding party will be getting ready there.
Where do we sit?
Pick a place, either side! Seats and tables for immediate family will be reserved. Otherwise, you can sit wherever you like!
Where do I go to the bathroom?
There will be signs to direct you to the closest restroom.
Can I bring my kid(s)?
Absolutely! We will have a sectioned off area where children can hang out, sit on pillows, eat, and watch a movie on the projector! We will also have fun activities for them to enjoy.
Can I take photos with my cell phone?
You may, however, please be mindful of those around you. Do not block/lean into the aisle to take photos, or stand to block the view of any other visitors.
Can I bring alcohol?
Yes! We would like to stick to a beer-only reception, as there will be children, no bartender, and we want all of our guests to arrive home safely. Please drop off your items at one of the designated coolers, which will have signs.
What food will there be and what if I have an allergy/dietary need?
We will be providing many snacks, as well as BBQ and other side dishes. We have a child with Celiac, so there will be Gluten-Free options, as well as vegetarian choices. If you have strict dietary needs, you may contact us to see if there is anything we can do to work with it, and you are also more than welcome to bring your own food, if that makes you more comfortable!
Can I pick a song to be played?
We have many songs on our playlist that have already been pre-approved, however, you may ask the Bride and Groom if a specific song you like may be added. Please get with them beforehand, as we want to be sure all of the songs have time to play.
Do I need to buy a gift and send it, or bring one to the wedding?
Thank you for the consideration! We have a very small house and practically everything we need already. If you are wanting to get us a gift, you can check out our registry on Amazon, or you can gift us money toward our Honeymoon Fund! We will not be opening any cards or gifts during the reception, and prefer to do so privately, in our own home.
What should I wear?
Something comfortable and casual! The event is outdoors, on a large grassy lawn, so please be aware there may be random holes in the ground, and we wouldn't want your to hurt yourself in heels! There may also be wind, so please be cautious when choosing flowy dress items. We want our guests to feel comfortable, and not like they need to dress up too much. Church-attire is appropriate, though children will be able to play, so they may get dirty.
