Our Wedding

Our story, wow where do we begin… Well, first that would urge us to start a decade ago (literally) at the beginning of our love story placing us in the halls of Arlington High. From starting as friends to best friends, to partners to now looks at us now becoming one. Each year we have spent together has not only delivered growth, comfort, and joy, but also change and loss. We stood by one another’s side each and every day, pushing each other outside our our boundaries all while growing closer and falling more in love. We choose to stand still and to let God. The thing is, when you meet someone at such a young age, you are planting a seed in the phase of learning and growth. Day by day Alex and I chose to grow together and to become planted as one. Step by step, loss and gain we choose to stand tall and to continue. We let go of the little fights, became the number one supporter for one another, each other’s accountability partner, the safety rail that we needed and most importantly each other’s soulmates. Was it hard sometimes? Duh But was it worth it? Oh my yes. We are so excited to share a slice of our love on our wedding day! May the 4th be with you.

Alicia, who is Chelsea’s little sister plays such a high role in her life as her best friend, soul sister, and her biggest motivator! Not only does she have a huge heart, but is committed to ensuring each of her sisters feel her love, regardless the distance. Alicia and Chelsea has been everywhere together, from their first love, first car, first heartbreak, first house, first loss, and first accomplishments. These two will be together until the end, except with lil boo in the middle.

Bethany is the youngest of the sisters and keeps her big sister on her toes more than ever. She is known for her big heart, strong soul, and the beautiful smile she has everywhere she goes. Chelsea has always played the mom role for her sisters and with Bethany being the youngest- she holds on to her just a lil more snug as each year she outgrows the “baby” role more than ever. She cherishes Bethany’s ability to make her laugh, and how she can hold each sister accountable in the best ways.

Shelby and Chelsea have been friends for nearly ten years and have cherished the best memories together! Ultimately their friendship boomed as they became Big and Little in their sorority Pi Beta Phi. But as the years advanced so their their friendship. Chelsea values the memories they share as well as Shelby’s giving heart, compassion, and her hardworking mindset. These two have been together through the highs and lows, the process of learning and growth, and most importantly the value of understanding true friendship that overcomes the trials life can can be throw our way.

Brooke and Chelsea met in college at the University of Memphis and have had the ability to grow, love, and adventure together throughout the years of knowing one another. Brooke has always been the go-to-gal when it comes to the best advice giver, story-teller, or even when needing a shoulder to cry on. When it comes to Brooke, she’s got it!

Monica and Chelsea met in college and as Chelsea would say, she is  “Truly a blessing from God”. While the two met through mutual friends, the friendship the two developed is unlike none other. Monica is best known for her sweet laugh, encouraging heart, and strong mindset. Monica never fails to keep Chelsea on her toes and to remind her she’s never alone.

Kate and Chelsea have known each other throughout college and through the best time in life- watching each other fall in love with their person. Kate and Chelsea’s friendship grew as did they and before they knew it, their bond became indestructible. Kate is known for her encouragement, the ability to uplift anyone and everyone and her dedication in every friendship she has in her life.

Erin and Chelsea met for the first time at Southern Social over five years ago and have been besties ever since. There they were, two broke lost college kids, serving at one of the nicest restaurants in Memphis, just trying to survive and make a buck. Boom..walks in the love of Erin’s life (Phillip) and life is no longer boring, we are found, and now managing at the restaurants we served at for years. Long story short, Erin has been Chelsea’s rock for quite some time now, and she wouldn’t want it any other way.

Sydney and Chelsea’s friendship is truly one that shows the “time of knowing someone” does not hold a place when two strong women can connect on an unspeakable level. “ To have a friend who truly understands loss, yet can make someone feel so found, is a blessing like none other”. Sydney’s resilient mindset, loving soul, and sweet words are just a few attributes that Chelsea adores about her.

Aarenton has known Chelsea and Alex for as long as he can remember! He has been the rock for both parties as they navigated life together. Aarenton has been apart of their lives throughout many houses, change and loss and has continually supported the two year after year. Aarenton has kept the two laughing all while being the best friend he possibly can! Aarenton is a bridesman but will be standing on Alex’s side due to his commitment to always take care of Chelsea.

Austin and Alex have been friends since the beginning of high school. In fact, Alex is one to brag to say he is the reason Austin and Shelby first got together from a simple social medial post that went from a prank to promising him a future. Austin is a cherished friend by Alex due to his long time commitment, unbeatable knowledge, and long time best friend that has not only been on many trips and experiences but has built a strong bond that will last a lifetime. 

Austin Cantu

Breeden and Alex met at Arlington High School and from what started as bros, shortly turned into roommates, and now a groomsman. Breeden not only keeps Alex laughing not stop, but he is always there to keep him accountable or to lend him any betting tips to help his financial gain. While the two went from seeing each other every day to a few times a year, their bond has stayed just as strong, regardless of the distance. 

Breeden Morrison 

Austin and Alex have known each other for a few years but have become the best brother in law a man could ask for! Austin is known for his hardworking mentality, his ability to fix anything, and his mad love for Harley Davison. Austin and Alex share a true love of sports and can find both of them in front of a game cheering on and having a great time!

Max is Alex’s little brother and has looked up to his big bro from as long as he can remember. Max and Alex share a special unique bond that simply warms Chelsea’s heart each time they spend a day out together. Max has kept up the pace with trying to follow in Alex’s footsteps each and every day. Their brotherly connection continues to grow as each year and milestone passes by. 

Max Eck 

Dylan and Alex have been friends since college at the University of Memphis and have truly leaned and learned from one another as their relationship strengthened throughout the years. Dylan not only is admired for being a family man, but also due to his ability to have a good time all while engaging in each and everyone relationship present in the room. Regardless of the day you can find these two talking it up about sports or simply plotting the next beer pong game.

Ryan and Alex have known each other for quite some time, and yet they both can say that each hangout is like none other. You can find these two at your local golf course, sports bar, or plotting their next “money making move”.  One of Alex’s favorite aspects about this groomsman is Ryan’s ability to spark up any room, recommend the latest new brew or simply to have a good time.

Tyler and Alex have shared their fun friendship for years and have the memories that will last them a life time! Tyler has the ability to keep anyone and everyone that surrounds him laughing and cutting up. Alex and Tyler spent their high school and college years growing together without the anticipation that one day they will live miles apart. However when that day did come, the pair did not let life stand in the way and have choose to stay connected and to continue to prove their friendship exceeds beyond borders.

Tyler Sword 

Will and Alex share the love of sports throughout their high school career and have continued to develop their friendship as the years have passed and diplomas have been achieved. Will is one of the most loyal friends to Alex and has truly spent years enriching a brotherly connection that only matured as did they. Will has an amazing character and is willing to do such much for others, Alex is very thankful to have him stand by him on his big day.
