Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

We invite you to RSVP online here https://www.theknot.com/us/chelsea-johnson-and-joshua-barton-oct-2025 or via the RSVP card provided in some of the invitations.

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?

Both the ceremony and reception are at Wilson's Bittersweet Barn on 590 Dicks Dam Rd, New Oxford, PA 17350. The area is wheelchair accessible and there will be a side-by-side if you need assistance getting around.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Both! The Ceremony will be outdoors (weather pending) and the cocktail hour/reception will be indoors.

What's the best airport to use?

You can use BWI, Harrisburg, or Dulles. All of these are within reasonable driving distance.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. There will be multiple choices in attempt to fit everyone's needs.

Will there be an open bar?

No. There will be wine, beer, and our two signature drinks to choose from.

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I'm in town for your wedding?

Check out the "Things to Do" section of our travel page to see some of our favorite spots to eat, drink and explore in our city

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during our ceremony. We invite you to take photos and videos during the cocktail and reception.

What should I do if I miss the deadline for the room blocks?

If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block, reach out to the hotel and mention our wedding anyway—they may be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our block. If not, you can find additional nearby accommodations on our travel page.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Formal Attire. We suggest men wear a suit in any color and women wear a cocktail dress or a nice pantsuit. Please avoid wearing all white.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under age 18 on our wedding day. The only child that will be at the wedding will be our nephew Trysten as he will be in the wedding party and his whole family will be at the wedding.
