How We Met

We met at a very popular country line dance club called Prospectors. It is actually right down the street from where we are having our reception. Eugene was working as a bouncer at the time, and I was a dancer. We spent every Friday and Saturday night together at Prospectors for the next couple of months. I made the first move and we’ve been inseparable ever since.

The Proposal

Every year for each of our birthdays, we go to either a Phillies or Eagles game. This game happened to be the Philadelphia Eagles vs Buffalo Bills. It was pouring rain all day long. Before the game started, we decided to take a picture with the field and stadium behind us. Eugene gave the person behind us his phone so she could take the picture. He told the woman behind us secretly that he was going to propose, and his phone was really on video not picture. As the woman behind us counted down, Eugene went down on one knee while I almost fell down the stairs. He asked me to marry him and of course I said YES! Ask to see the video, it’s pretty funny!
