Thank you all for the ongoing love and support as we navigate our wedding and Covid. To keep everyone safe and well we have decided to postpone our event until 2021! We are excited to announce our new Wedding date is Saturday 10/23/2021 !
Walk around and enjoy local Restaurants, Breweries, Shops, and Galleries all along Trade Street.
See a variety of outdoor walking trails and restaurants, including; Bailey Park, and Long Branch Trail.
This Brewery is a short walk from the Kimpton Cardinal Hotel and offers a great selection of beers, especially IPA's. Its located in the old Bailey Power Plant and has both indoor and outdoor space to hang out before the Wedding.
Also check out the awesome wood fire Pizza place right next door, Cugino Forno Pizzeria.
A Winston favorite, that offers a beer for everyone's style. From true-to-style German beers, to hop-forward IPAs to funky fermented sours.
A small-batch brewery that is always got something new. just a short walk down the street from Wise Man.
A early morning and late night spot for, coffee, snacks or a cocktail. We really enjoy the Nitro cold brew :)
A short walk from incendiary and the Kimpton for some ice cream, YES PLEASE! The Lill Dipper serves up hand-dipped cones and toppings.
Chels fav- A BIG cone with pistachio dip and graham cracker dirt
Fitz fav- Vegan ice cream with chocolate chips & coconut shavings
Wine bar and Resturant
Right next to the Fiddlin Fish Brewery!
Cute breakfast or lunch spot, and serves BREAKFAST ALL DAY!
The drive to Pilot Mountain is about 30-35 minutes from downtown. The parking lot at the state park is almost to the top of the peak, allowing you to drive for views. Or chose to do one of the trailheads to go up or down once you arrive.
You will see the mountain from the venue for the ceremony!
Great place to walk, fairly flat but offers a lot of pretty wildlife and flowers. The trails also connect to Wake Forest grounds for a longer walk.
We highly recommend stopping by Dough-Joe's Doughnut & Coffee, for a tasty treat. Chel'ss favorite is the Carmel Drizzel, Sarah's Lemon Glaze :)
