We met through a mutual friend, a simple introduction that would unknowingly set the stage for something much greater. From the very first moment we crossed paths, there was a spark. Neither of us knew what to expect, but there was an undeniable pull between us. We had had a few double dates before going on our first one-on-one date, which was the turning point.

What began as a casual outing turned into hours of deep, meaningful conversation. As we shared every thing from our interests, hobbies, politics (it was 2020), and life goals. It felt as though we were discovering a mirror image of each other. It was clear that we shared more than just surface-level interests—we had also aligned on morals, similar ambitions, and a natural, easy connection. It was one of those rare moments when time seemed to slow, and it felt like we’d known each other forever.

Fast forward three years later, and our bond had only deepened. We traveled to many states sight seeing, crossed off some bucket list items, went on our first cruise, and got engaged on our three year anniversary.

Not long after, we moved into our first apartment—our first space to call our own—and it was a milestone that marked the beginning of our future together.

Now, as we plan our wedding, I can't help but look back at how far we've come, how much we’ve grown as individuals and as a couple. Every moment, every challenge, every victory has brought us closer, and I can't wait to continue this journey with the person who makes me feel seen, loved, and understood.
