Corey and Chelsea's love story is as modern as it gets: two swipes right on Tinder in September 2019 led them to a quiet first date at Chelsea's Marlborough apartment. Corey appeared at Chelsea's front door one random Wednesday evening bearing a smile and Haagen Dazs coffee ice cream - Chelsea's favorite. They stayed in and watched Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, which is a big deal, because if you know Chelsea, it meant that Corey endured two hours of commentary and Chelsea reciting the script by heart! Luckily, Corey didn't mind, and might have even found it charming, because their second date was the next night where they spent another night watching a movie, and their third date was that Sunday! They already couldn't get enough of each other!

Shortly after, they made their relationship official, and Corey and Chelsea found time for each other as often as they could, which unfortunately, was few and far between. They knew they had to make the most of the time they did get together by hanging out at Chelsea's apartment, going for drives, watching movies, grabbing food, and listening to music together. A few months later, the pandemic hit, and their new relationship was really put to the test. During lockdown, they saw each other every other weekend and spent this time really getting to know each other. Corey would cook dinner in Chelsea's very small kitchen and they would eat dinner while watching movies. Corey even got Chelsea to watch all 16 seasons of his favorite show, Supernatural. After a year of splitting time between each other's separate spaces, they decided they were ready for the next step and moved in together. They found the perfect place to call home in Nashua, NH and said goodbye to Massachusetts living and hello to the Live Free or Die state!

After many small trips together throughout the pandemic, they took their biggest adventure in October 2021. Corey and Chelsea went on a vacation with Corey's family to Disney World! With Chelsea's love for Harry Potter, it made sense that she also wanted to spend a day at Universal Studios to revisit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. They somehow managed to choose the hottest day of the entire trip for their Universal Studios visit, but regardless of the heat, they had so much fun! Corey's niece, Sophia, and Chelsea excitedly brought him around the different parts of Harry Potter World until eventually, food and rest was necessary. Through all this excitement, Chelsea had no idea that Corey had plans of his own. He kept insisting that they go back to the castle "for the ride," and the girls continuously brushed him off. At the end of the day, when they were nearly ready to head back to the hotel to relax in the pool, Corey finally got his way and they went back to the castle. They went on the Hogwarts ride, and while taking pictures outside of the castle, Corey was preparing to propose! He handed the camera to Sophia and filled her in on what was about to happen, which left a confused and slightly irritated Chelsea standing in front of the castle for what felt like forever waiting for him for their picture! Once Corey walked up to her, instead of standing beside her, he dropped to one knee and asked her to marry him. She was so surprised! The crowd cheered and clapped around them which added to the magic of the moment as she said yes and they embraced!
