Our Wedding

What started as a simple swipe turned into a beautiful journey of love and companionship for Chelsea &amp; Ross. Their online connection blossomed into countless messages, shared laughter, and a growing sense of mutual admiration. From the first nervously typed greeting to the first meeting in person, every step of their relationship has been marked by joy, understanding, and commitment to each other. Now, as they stand hand in hand, ready to embark on the next chapter of their journey, Chelsea &amp; Ross invite you to join them in celebrating their love—a modern-day fairy tale that proves love can find you anywhere, even through an app called Tinder.

Looking for a place to stay in Victoria? Here are a few options of places you could look into for your trip!

This hotel is located near the wedding venue, and allows for easy access to the venue! A short drive from other fun things in Victoria, and generally has more affordable prices!

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Victoria - Colwood, an IHG Hotel

Looking for something closer to downtown for your trip? This is the hotel we recommend for your trip! It is right on the water and truly gives you the "Victoria Experience."

Hotel Grand Pacific

An AirBnB is probably the most affordable option on this list, because it can be cheaper to find a place (anywhere you'd like to be) for several families to be in one house! Essentially, you can rent a house, apartment, bedroom, etc. for a "per night" price. This is the option Ross &amp; I will probably be doing as they tend to stock kitchens, provide linens, towels, etc. and is the most cost efficient option!

Chelsea & Ross’ Epic Victoria List 

Chelsea & Ross lived in Victoria for about 7-8 years in total. During this period of time, Chelsea & Ross have accumulated a list of many “must-see” and “must-do” things. These places have been and are still loved by both Ross & Chelsea today. In between wedding events, you might even catch them at one of these places on your trip down to beautiful Victoria, BC!

Chelsea’s degree in French doesn’t just lead her into the school system— she can also be found munching on French snacks (usually with her bestie Hannah). Joie French Café serves dessert crêpes, savoury crêpes, croque monsieur, french onion soup, and so much more. Chelsea will tell you that she dreams about the strawberry & banana crêpes and the house iced tea! La nourriture ici est délicieuse!

Are you a person who can’t digest gluten? Does that make you sad? Fear no longer! Origin bake-shop is celiac approved, and has DELICIOUS bread and pastries that’ll make you forget you can’t have that sweet yeasty bread.

On an anniversary or special occasion, Chelsea & Ross can be found at Il Terrazzo! A fine dining experience without the need for a fine dining wallet — Chelsea’s favourites include the Insalata Caprese and the Maiale Pizza, while Ross enjoys the Anatra Pizza! Just make a reservation in advance to secure your spot —and besides…. Who can go wrong with complimentary bread and olive tapenade?

There is nothing better than the drag scene in Victoria! Ross & Chelsea loved Saturday or Sunday brunch drag shows — it’s likely that if you’ve come to visit Chelsea, she will have taken you here as her #1 fave place! Make sure to book in advance. Come see local drag queens Honey DewMe, Henrietta Dubet, or Vivian Vanderpuss at this location and you’ll be SURE to have a good time. p.s. don’t forget to bring $5 bills to tip your queens!

The Vicious Poodle 

Chelsea and Ross LOVE to play board games together. On a date night, or out with friends, the couple would spend hours at the Interactivity Board Game Café. It is $7 to sit and play thousands of games they have — for however long you like! This location includes both a bar side and a family side. Chelsea & Ross recommend ordering a milkshake, buying a candy bowl, and even trying to roll for a shot at the bar side of the establishment. May the odds be ever in your favour!

More newly established, Chelsea & Ross loved to order a snack and play pinball together while in Victoria. This is a pretty fun place — but don’t get too competitive while playing with friends and family!

Do you like games? If so, this is the place to be! This arcade is one of Ross’ favourite places in Victoria. Ross can be found with a cup of coins trying to fight “enemies” in different games, “wreckin’ Ralph,” or playing Mario Kart with their Mario Kart racing set-up.

Quazar's Arcade

A fun fact about Chelsea & Ross is that they had a membership that took them to this theatre once a month to enjoy a large extra, EXTRA buttered popcorn and a large coke with a good movie. One thing Chelsea & Ross really miss is coming here for date night!

SilverCity Victoria Cinemas 

Imagine a room filled with TONS of critters (contained, luckily) and the ability to hold a scorpion or tarantula? The bug zoo is so fun and Chelsea & Ross love their gift shop and informational tours!

Need some fresh air?

Chelsea & Ross lived on the gorge for about 2 years. During nice weather, the gorge is a beautiful place to take a walk, bring your kids to play at the park, and have a BBQ or picnic! Bonus — the Japanese gardens here are where the couple even got engaged, and where their engagement photos were taken.

Every holiday season in Victoria, Chelsea & Ross would live out their Hallmark movie dreams at the wonderful Butchart Gardens. Take a walk through the beautiful gardens, take a ride on the horse carousel, or get a drink and snack from their little café.
