we started off like any other strangers at work, both struggling and going through hard times.. we started off just chatting on our bonded daily smoke breaks.. shortly after, texting started. Ash drove me and picked me up from Katie’s for our first date, we spent countless nights at the cemeteries and the park or just driving around singing, he chose these things because he knew it would make me happy and that’s what mattered to him.. A few weeks later ash said he loved me, but unfortunately I laughed at it.. I just couldn’t believe it was real.. a few days later I had finally made the realisation to myself that it was time to say it back. Suddenly on the 20/09/23 ash officially asked me to be his girlfriend! Next… we came to Adelaide to meet my kids, and to support them together. Then our biggest commitment yet… we moved in together, everything is great and we love that our home is shared between us. We then got Freya our very first pet.. A few weeks later he then went through surgery for his shoulder and really struggled and wasn’t ok but I still stood by him and knew that no matter how hard the time was I was going to be there through every stage. We then went away to the Sunshine Coast so we both got a few days to recover together as a couple, we then picked up Aya our second pet on the way home for his birthday present. After our amazing journey so far full of ups and downs, going through every step together, on the 28/08/2024 ash took me to my favourite beach, got down on one knee and proposed at Mooloolaba beach. And lastly we have gotten our third pet together Luna, for our 1 year anniversary. Now after these thirty two lines of story telling, this has been our journey together so far and we can’t wait to spend the rest of it together!!
