Our Wedding

On June 20th, 2022 we both liked each other's Hinge profile. Matthew loved my graduation photo in front of Bascom Hill and I couldn't resist his photo as Bucky Badger. We talked endlessly for a week before finally meeting. We went to Beach House Bistro in Pewaukee and talked for hours while enjoying some food and wine. Laughing over our similarities and differences and fully opening up to each other. About a month later on July 14th, we went to Harbor House downtown and Blu Lounge for a date night. Matthew asked if I would be his girlfriend and of course said yes. The next 3 years flew by and we have shared multiple adventures together. Between countless Badger games, Brewer games, 14 states, visiting family, friends, moving jobs, and more, we can't wait to see what the future holds.

The Beginning

We traveled to Charleston, South Carolina for Chelsea’s spring break during March of 2025. Little did she know that Matthew had been planning a special surprise. He had worked with a photographer about the best spot to propose in front of a lighthouse and on a beach. They worked together to find the perfect spot on Folly Beach in front of the Morris Island lighthouse. After a day full of exploring, Matthew had a surprise. He told me to close my eyes and walk down a long path to the beach. After eyes opened, the lighthouse was right in front of us and suddenly Matthew turned and got down on one knee. It was the absolute perfect way to say yes to forever!
