We met five years ago in college. We dated for a little bit, but then we went our separate ways. We reconnected about a year and a half ago and never stopped talking! Our love story has taken us on quite the adventure. We got to reconnect in Vegas and shortly after we officially started dating. Then, Killian deployed to Europe for nine months and I was able to go visit him in Germany for a few days. Killian told me that he loved me on the last day right before he left, which I had been waiting for him to do the entire time. Seven months later, I flew to Kansas to welcome him home from deployment which was the best feeling ever. After that, he came to California for Thanksgiving to meet my family and on November 30, 2019 he proposed to me. It was the best day ever and I was so shocked even though I had been waiting for that moment for so long! We had a short engagement and got married in an intimate elopement on January 1, 2020 with just our officiant and photographer to capture the moment. It was so special and truly the best day of our lives. In February, we made the three day road trip to Kansas to finally end the long distance and start our lives together. Married life has been great and we are so excited to celebrate our marriage with all of you on July 5th!!
