Chelsea, a fellow Arizona native, was charmed by Kyle’s wit and deemed him a conversationalist worth knowing. After exchanging a few messages, they transitioned their chats off the app, sparking an undeniable connection that led to their first date on April 20, 2022, at Quarters Korean BBQ in Koreatown.

That evening was a turning point. Both noticed how the other treated their server with kindness and patience—an early testament to their shared values. The night was filled with laughter and smiles, ending with a sweet kiss near Chelsea’s car.

The first year of their relationship was a whirlwind of introductions, as they got to know each other’s friends and families. Chelsea’s friends jokingly doubted Kyle’s endurance through her lively 30th birthday bash in the Hollywood Hills, but he proved them wrong.
