Our Wedding

Chelsea and Ricky met through an online dating app, both coming off a streak of less-than-lucky dates and low expectations. Their first date was on July 19, 2023, at a mini golf course — though, if you’d asked Chelsea earlier that day, she was brainstorming every possible excuse to cancel. Luckily, none of them stuck. The date went on. Ricky hit a hole-in-one, Chelsea didn’t cheer, and somehow that just made things more fun. In the end, Chelsea took the win, which meant Ricky owed her ice cream. They grabbed cones and ended up talking until the place closed — no awkward silences, no checking the time — just easy conversation and an unexpected connection. A few weeks later, on August 6, 2023, after an IronPigs game, Ricky officially asked Chelsea to be his girlfriend. It didn’t begin with fireworks or dramatic gestures. It began with mini golf, an ice cream cone, and two people who found something real in the most unexpected place. And from that night on, the rest was history.

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hyatt House Allentown/Lehigh Valley for guests of the wedding. To book within our block and take advantage of the discounted pricing, kindly reserve your room by May 12, 2026 using the LINK BELOW. You can choose to stay in our block from Friday OR Saturday to Sunday (Click on the dates at the top of the page to change before you select a room). We recommend booking early to ensure availability! Please note: The check-in time for Hyatt is 4pm which is the same time that our ceremony begins. Hyatt will try to prioritize room blocks for wedding guests and early check-in may be possible. Please keep this in mind when arranging your travel plans. You can also download the Hyatt app to view your room status. Feel free to contact the hotel directly with any questions. We plan on having an informal after party in the hotel's restaurant, Westside Grill. Everyone is welcome to attend! We would also love for everyone to join us at the hotel's complimentary breakfast during our first morning as husband and wife!

Where to Stay

For your convenience, we will have optional transportation service through Epic Tours for guests staying at Hyatt House Allentown/Lehigh Valley. There will be 1 bus that will depart from the hotel to take guests to the wedding at Brookside Country Club. The bus will arrive at the hotel at 2:30pm and depart at 3:05pm. At the end of the evening, there will be staggered trips back to the hotel. The first trip will depart at 9:15pm and the second trip will depart at 9:45pm. The bus holds 56 passengers so please plan accordingly as seating will be limited. Please be ready on time for the departure to help keep everything running smoothly! If you prefer to drive, parking is available at the venue. You may leave your car at the venue overnight if you would need.
