Our engagement story traces back to a surprising encounter over Christmas break in 2019. Chelsee ran into Alex's Uncle Dave at Dairy Queen and casually mentioned Alex's name. Little did we know, that brief conversation would spark the beginning of our beautiful journey together. Inspired by fate, Alex took the initiative to reach out to Chelsee, setting the state for countless memories to come.

Before Alex had to return to Virginia, we managed to squeeze in a memorable date at Spoonwood Brewery. The laughter, and the connection between us was undeniable. It was clear that something special was brewing. Eager to spend more time together, Chelsee made the trip to Winchester to see Alex for a second date.

When COVID-19 hit and schools closed for both Alex and I, it unexpectedly brought Alex back home to PA. Despite the challenges and uncertainties, we embraced the opportunity to be together, cherishing the moments with each other and our families. Little did we know, these moments would lay the foundation for a future filled with love and laughter.

After 2 years of navigating the challenges of long-distance, although it wasn't very challenging at all, in March of 2022, Alex made a life-changing decision. He decided to it was time to close the gap and permanently move back to PA, all while embarking on a new career path. It was a bold step towards our shared future, filled with hope and excitement for the adventures that awaited us.

In October 2022, Alex surprised Chelsee with an engagement while in State College for a Penn State football game.

In December 2022, Alex and I took another monumental step in our journey together by purchasing our first home in Canonsburg. It was a momentous moment, filled with excitement and anticipation as we envisioned turning this house into our home. With our hearts full of dreams and determination, we moved in during January after completing a few in-house projects to make it our own. Eager to start this next chapter of our lives, we wasted no time in diving into the joyous task of planning our forever together.

Setting our wedding date of July 6, 2024 is a date that holds meaning. As we embark in this next chapter of our lives, Alex and I are filled with overwhelming excitement and gratitude. We eagerly anticipate the day we we will be surrounded by our closest family and friends at our wedding, celebrating the love and bond that we share. Your presence will make our special day even more meaningful. We look forward to sharing this joyous occasion with each and every one of you.
