Our Wedding

Our Love Story

October 28th 2011&nbsp;we met at a Halloween party. I&nbsp;was&nbsp;dressed as superwoman and Adam in a red morph suit. The day after we met Adam messaged me on Facebook and asked for my&nbsp;phone number.&nbsp;After weeks of flirting&nbsp;Adam finally asked me&nbsp;out on a date. We went to Brixx Pizza and talked for hours. That's when we both knew we were meant to be together!&nbsp;

A few months and many dates later Adam asked me to be his girlfriend! That summer on 4th of July while watching&nbsp;the fireworks on the lake we&nbsp;both said "I&nbsp;love you" to&nbsp;each other! It was magical!&nbsp;That Christmas Adam took me to England to meet his family and we&nbsp;spent&nbsp;New Years&nbsp;in London. It was our first big trip together!

















Fast forward May 2014 Adam graduated from UNCC and came up with the wild&nbsp;idea that we should move to an island. After celebrating Adam's sister's wedding in St. Martin we felt very passionate about moving to an island!!

















&nbsp;We did our research, started applying for jobs,&nbsp;packed our bags and in&nbsp;March 2015 we moved&nbsp;to St. Thomas USVI. We spent 2 years exploring islands, hiking, beaching, boating, snorkeling and scuba diving! We were loving island life so much!&nbsp; We made new friends that inspired us and sparked the travel bug within us. So we started staving up money so that&nbsp;we could travel the world. June 2017 we did just that! First stop Iceland!&nbsp;















On our&nbsp;first full day in Iceland we hiked on top of the famous&nbsp;Seljanlandsfoss waterfall. We felt so thrilled that we had saved up to do this world trip and that we were actually&nbsp;on it, hiking on top of a waterfall in Iceland. It was surreal!&nbsp;Adam set up a shot on the gopro so we could capture this epic moment. After setting up the camera he ran over to me got down on one knee and proposed!!&nbsp;I said “yes” we stood there crying/laughing/hugging and kissing. It was such a perfect moment we will never forget!! 

















After the amazing proposal in Iceland we traveled to Ireland then to England to visit Adam's family and to&nbsp;celebrate&nbsp;our engagement! Then we hopped over to Paris, France&nbsp;rented a car and traveled Europe for 2 months. We went to France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Andorra, Switzerland and&nbsp;Italy. After our tour of Europe we flew to South Africa! From there we traveled to Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii then to Colorado to meet up with friends! We traveled together for 8 months straight.. in a tent,&nbsp;navigating new places,&nbsp;always together, highs and lows... but we&nbsp;supported each other the whole time and it was such an amazing life&nbsp;experience!



After our world trip we lived in NC for a year then got the opportunity to move back to St. Thomas where we will be getting married.&nbsp;We can't wait to have our wedding reception in Charlotte and&nbsp;celebrate with all of our family and friends! Cheers!
