On a warm, summer’s day back in 2022, Chelsey was out with her family, preparing to enjoy some fun under the sun at the beach with a trip to the grocery store. Meanwhile, Dan was on one of his regular shifts working in that same store. The family had split up, in search of food and snacks to enjoy on the beach. After searching with her mother and grandmother awhile, Chelsey decided to see what her dad had found. To her surprise, there he was, talking to a man with dark hair and hazel eyes. A man she found out to be named Daniel. Chelsey didn’t think much of this meeting though, as she never thought she would see him again. She was wrong.
Time went by and news had swarmed Chelsey’s place of work that Dan would be coming back, as he had worked there before working at the grocery store and then one day she met him a second time, but was much too shy to say a word.
Time went by and they slowly started to become friends. Unbeknownst to the both of them, feelings had grown for one another. They started staying after work and talking and with each passing day, the feelings grew stronger and stronger and then one day, Dan built up the courage to ask for her number. And some time after that, asked her out on a date. Some time later, they said their first “I love you” and their relationship grew.
On January 1st, 2025, on a trip to Disney, Dan got down on one knee, holding a gorgeous rose gold ring and asked Chelsey to marry him. Through teary eyes and a bright smile, Chelsey said yes!
On November 28th, 2025, a new chapter begins. We can’t wait to see how the rest of the story unfolds!
