It all started on a baseball field. How could it be otherwise? Chelsey’s Green Giants and Ben’s Bayou Blues battling it out on Sundays in the spring and fall as part of the People’s Baseball League. Sacrifice bunts and sliding catches. Wild pitches and walk-off errors. Perhaps not the most traditional environment for a budding romance, and yet, here we are. Still rivals between the lines, but now lifelong teammates everywhere else.

Hello everyone, We are over the Moon to celebrate with all of you this weekend! We wanted to reach out and touch on some logistical information regarding the festivities this coming weekend to help coordinate schedules. Because of the way Bayou Beer Garden is set up, there will be two bars available: one for wine and select cocktails, and another for draft beer. 6:00 PM - Rehearsal Dinner at Bayou Beer Garden (326 N Norman C Francis Parkway, New Orleans, LA 70119)9:00 PM - End of Rehearsal Dinner10:00 PM - Our friend Sean Daigle is an amazing DJ and will be performing at Okay Bar for the remainder of the evening for anyone that wants to continue on into the night and dance. SaturdayThe big day! We'll be having a block party in and around our house with live music on the front porch. A few logistics:- If you're taking an Uber/Lyft to our house, please have them drop you at the corner of Grand Route Saint John St. and North White St. so that they don't have to drive through the crowd.- We would recommend wearing shoes that can contend with a variety of surfaces like asphalt, (broken) sidewalks, and grass. 5:00 PM - Cocktail Hour ft. Little Moon Oysters (until 7:00 PM)6:00 PM - La Cocinita Food Truck opens up (until 8:00 PM)7:00 PM - Live Music and dancing in the streets!8:30 PM - The band takes a break and Ben &amp; Chelsey address the crowd9:00 PM - Dessert Pies are out and the dancing continues10:00 PM - Music ends and we walk over to Pal's Lounge to continue the fun SundayBlues VS Giants at Larry Gilbert Stadium ( 3355 Joliet St, New Orleans, LA 70118). It's the big showdown where we find out who is truly worthy of the Gator Cup! Feel free to choose a side, or no side, and come on out, have some fun, and see where our love began. The organ will be blasting, the shenanigans will be plentiful, and the baseball will be baseballing. What else is there? 12:00 PM - Pre-game ceremony12:05 PM - PLAYYYY BALL!3:00 PM - Game ends (and real life begins)
