It all started with a good morning snap on a random Tuesday…..💜💚

When Chris and I first started talking I knew there was something different about him - our first time hanging out was at a dart tournament in Brookings. I drove to Brookings in a blizzard in hopes that he still wanted me to come see him (I hadn’t talked to him for at least 2 hours prior 😆). It turns out he did want to see me...thank goodness! I learned very quickly that I knew absolutely nothing about throwing darts - I don’t even want to know how many questions I asked 🤪

From there on, we never went very long without seeing each other, and, before we knew it, we were constantly driving back and forth from Miller to Yale to see each other. On March 6, 2022 Christopher asked me to be his girlfriend. I obviously said yes - with some rules of course 😉 One of them being “I do not want to live in Miller”.. little did I know that not even 6 months later, I would be packing up my stuff and moving into a house in Miller. To my surprise, I ended up not hating it! 🥰

On January 15, 2023, our lives changed forever. We became Mom & Dad to the most precious girl, Berklynn Delphine! Being a mom has been the greatest gift of all time and watching Christopher become a dad has been a blessing in itself. Berklynn and I are so lucky to have him in our corner. ♥️

On July 2, 2023, I was coming home from spending the night at my parents - I was on the phone with my sister and Chris kept bothering me and telling me to come inside. I told him I would be in shortly. To my surprise, Christopher had something very important to ask..before I knew it he was down on one knee asking me to marry him. That was the easiest “yes” of my life.

Now we are less then than 6 months away from saying “I do” with our favorite people by our side. 🤍
